For teams exploring a practical use for AI

Put AI to work inside your business.

AI integration for document-heavy workflows and existing business systems. Turn information into useful drafts, connect it to the right workflow and keep people in control of important decisions.

A useful AI feature needs more than a prompt.

The real work is connecting the right information, showing where an answer came from and deciding what happens when it is uncertain. We scope AI around a specific process and evaluate it before wider use.

Document and job-pack briefings

Explore turning PDF and spreadsheet packs into structured draft briefings, with references back to the source material for a person to check.

Structured information extraction

Extract candidate work items, equipment lists or order details into a useful structure. Preserve uncertain or missing information for review rather than filling gaps with guesses.

Integration with existing systems

Bring an AI-assisted step into an established application, database or approval workflow. Define access, logging, failure handling and the boundary between a suggestion and an authorised action.

Pilot evaluation and oversight

Compare results with manual work on representative samples. Measure omissions, unsupported answers, review time and running cost before deciding whether to extend the pilot.

A practical first step

Start with one document-heavy workflow

Bring a repetitive task and examples of its inputs and expected outputs. We assess where AI may help, define a bounded pilot and agree how its usefulness will be measured.

What we agree together

  • One clearly scoped use case and suitable sample inputs
  • An agreed approach to data access and provider handling
  • A pilot with source references and human review
  • An evaluation covering quality, time, cost and failure cases

Deliverables, fees and availability are confirmed in your proposal.

Questions worth asking.

Can you add AI to our existing software?

Often, yes. We first review the application, available interfaces, permissions and data. The integration should fit the workflow and make failures or incomplete results visible.

Will our business data be used to train an AI model?

That depends on the provider, product, account terms and configuration. We review the proposed data flow and retention arrangements with you before sending project information to a service. We do not assume that an API setting means zero retention.

Can AI approve work or act without a person?

A pilot should produce reviewable drafts unless a specific action has been designed and authorised. Important decisions, approvals and uncertain outputs need clear human oversight.

What results can we expect?

Results must be measured on your own representative examples. We assess accuracy, omissions, review effort and cost; a proof of concept is not evidence of production reliability or a guaranteed saving.
